The NNRC Cup Virtual Series, presented by Elite RC Production, is in full swing after the North Georgia Shootout for the Sportsman and Intermediate classes and SilverState for the Pro class.

Let’s take a look at the Sportsman and Intermediate standings after their third race, the North Georgia Shootout. The NGS takes place at the Rabun Arena in Tiger, Georgia. The brainchild of Mark Moon, it is held under a roof in the beautiful Smoky Mountains of North Georgia. This race saw drivers from all over the Southeast, with a contingent of racers from Michigan and Indiana making the trip as well.

**Sportsman Points**

Going into NGS, Weston Wilson was leading the points after SIC and PNB, followed by Josh Fine and Jacob Lasko in the top three. Jacob Lasko headed into NGS with maximum points in mind and took the win, which bumped him up to the top spot in points. In second is Alex Cummings, who has attended all three races so far and took 3rd at NGS. Mike Tudor rounds out the top three, showing that consistency is key in a point series. Weston Wilson and Josh Fine dropped to 4th and 5th after missing the NGS race. Remember, they have drop races, so the points shown do not yet factor in the drop races.

The next races on the schedule for these guys are the RC Pro Am and Wicked Weekend, both happening in July. Who will attend and add valuable points to be crowned the first-ever Sportsman NNRC Cup Champion?
