After two rained-out races, we are finally back in action. This time, we were at Callahan RC Speedway, located on the Callahan Speedway track. We arrived on Thursday and could already tell it would be a scorching day. Racers began to arrive Thursday night, and Friday practice ran until 9 PM, thanks to John Bernard for staying late and ensuring the track was in perfect condition for Saturday’s races.

With over 181 entries, Saturday went smoothly, though the sun was relentless, with temperatures soaring above 120 degrees. Despite some equipment failures due to the extreme heat, the racers pushed through and had a fantastic time. We can’t wait to be back for the next round!
