2026 JCONCEPTS FLORIDA RC CHAMPIONSHIP FRCC RND 3 - CAPITAL CITY RACEWAY
Capital City RC in Tallahassee delivered a full day racing for Round 3 of the 2026 Jconcepts FRCC Florida RC Championship 8th Scale Series. With a good turnout of entries and packed racing throughout the day, the event showcased some of the best 1/8-scale competition in the region. The Capital City RC track crew did an outstanding job maintaining the racing surface all weekend long, keeping the track race-ready despite the nonstop action. Saturday’s mains produced everything from last-lap transfer battles to strategic nitro runs and intense double A-main electric racing.

Top Qualifiers
Lower Mains
The lower mains set the tone immediately. In Open ETruggy B Main, Soell Lugo and Craig Jackson raced their way into the A Main, while Thomas McGrath missed the transfer by only seven-tenths of a second.
Rookie EBuggy B Main was even tighter, with William Tolksdorf edging Paul Timm by roughly two-hundredths of a second for the final bump spot.
Open EBuggy B Main followed with more transfer pressure as Scott Manning and Ryan Moore advanced, leaving Braden Thompson just short.
Electric Mains
The electric side stayed alive all the way through the second mains. Jader Lopez locked down the 40+ Electric Buggy overall, while Zack Milner secured the Open EBuggy overall victory.
Patrick Rossiter captured both Open ETruggy and Pro Electric Buggy, Edward Taylor won Rookie EBuggy overall, and Forest Arnold answered back in A2 to secure Rookie ETruggy.
The double-A format kept the pressure high, with several classes changing shape between the first and second mains.
Nitro Mains
Billy Easton took over the nitro spotlight. He controlled 40+ Nitro Buggy with a composed and strategic run over Jader Lopez, then backed it up with another dominant victory in Pro Nitro Buggy.
David Diehl delivered one of the cleanest drives of the day in Open Nitro Buggy, surviving the early chaos before managing the race from the front.
In the truck classes, Dylan Coe claimed Pro Nitro Truggy while Jake Lasko captured Open Nitro Truggy, giving the event two standout truck winners.
